The Interpret Europe mentoring and peer-support programme is designed for a wide range of heritage professionals: freelance interpreters and trainers at different stages of their careers, those newly entering the field, as well as experienced practitioners interested in acting as mentors. Its aim is to provide personalised support for professional development, encourage knowledge-sharing, and strengthen both individual practice and the interpretive community as a whole.
I am delighted to be one of this years Mentor’s for the European Association for Heritage Interpretation, and working with individuals from across the world looking to either work in the UK Heritage sector, to enhance their global views, to discuss decolonisation in the sector, or to just simply be the person they feel secure enough with to download their professional ambitions into another sector.
Have a look here for more information of the programme and how you can join.
