I have been one of the Mentors to work with a Argentinian based Business through the DEA programme.
Funded by the British Council and the Bunge and Born Foundation, this intensive training programme for the Design sector saw myself working with the incredible Pilar Beccara of Bottery.
Bottery’s mission is to:
‘Our mission is to offer sustainable solutions for the reduction and elimination of the use of plastic bottles in society, working together with our community and collaborators to promote the local industry responsible and raise awareness on the impact of plastic on the environment’.
This year Exponential Argentine Design ( DAE ) – Creative Bootcamp will promote 15 ventures strengthening Argentine design through training, networking and innovation. Through intensive training and support from STEAMhouse mentors at the University of Birmingham in the UK and experts from Argentina, as well as the opportunity to compete for one of the up to 3 Seed Capital Funds “ Bunge and Born Foundation ”.
I am beyond thrilled to be walking alongside Pilar and Bottery on this programme.
