An Indian Summer festival was delivered in the heart of Leicester from August to October 2017 and includes a range of performances, films, workshops, talks and exhibitions.
2017 marked 70 years of Independence for India and Pakistan – a momentous year to reflect on our recent history and look towards our shared future…An Indian Summer was brought to life by Inspirate to bring cultures together and showcase an eclectic mix of art with a little something for everyone. The three month programme (August – October 2017) of live shows, films, workshops, exhibitions and talks inspired, challenged and brought the colour of South Asia to the heart of Leicester!
Our role was to support the Programme development of the 2017 Indian Summer festival, to work up strategic evaluation needs and to support the organisational development of Inspirate.
