Indy is the founder of KALA PHOOL which began its life after Indy developed a niche in supporting the most innovative, exciting and diverse arts across the south east. Over the years Indy has developed a portfolio that is not only exciting but has created real change in the UK and worldwide.

Flagship projects include Rising Styles, the UK’s only dedicated annual Hip Hop festival. As a not for profit, non commercial and volunteer led event, Rising Styles has given the UK Hip Hop sector the voice and visibility it deserves.

You can often see Indy working every hour in the day being Boss Lady of KALA PHOOL whilst dreaming up ways of how to buy an endless supply of mangoes!

Josh Ford

Josh Ford is a graphic artist with a wide ranging skill base including, typography, motion graphics, design for print and web, animation and video production.

He has worked in theatre, film, television, advertising, branding and web development for clients such as BBC, Channel 4, The Discovery Channel, Virgin Atlantic, M&S, Landrover and many more.

His recent work has included creation of title sequences and captions for a feature length music documentary, collaboration on an animation project for English Heritage and design of end credits for a live music/film project that is being led by musician, Nitin Sawhney. He also developed and built a website site for FreeStyleGames, which is part of Activision and occasionally works as a scenic artist for large scale theatre productions. When he has time he makes paintings, illustrations and animation.

LJ has been working on various creative projects across the south east and London for the past number of years and has proven to be a formidable force in making them flourish.

As a quick thinking, fast working individual LJ is a much respected member of the team. He’s like a Ninja.

Jenni Lewin-Turner

Jenni is a highly experienced project manager and creative consultant, specialising in producing, programming and promoting artists of all disciplines. Jenni has a passionate and extensive history in arts management, arts marketing, audience development, and theatre/venue management.

Her exceptional project management and organisational skills have enabled her to successfully deliver a wide variety of arts related and business development projects. She is very keen to play a key role in helping to integrate arts and culture more fully into the life of the community, and to generate a much more inclusive approach to arts development.

Sri McKinnon

SRI is an artist/illustrator of dual heritage who draws upon the experience of this mixed background as a significant influence on her artwork. Absorbing inspiration from a diverse spectrum of visual and cultural references, SRI is interested in exploring ideas of cultural diversity, identity and mixed heritage.

Following a keen interest in all aspects of graffiti and street art, as well as traditional and contemporary illustration; folk arts, art nouveau and anime, these eclectic and dynamic influences are woven together to produce a fresh, organic and distinctive feminine style.

Current successes include being invited to participate in a mural for Selfridges Department store in association with The London Design Festival (as part of Miss Led’s all-female collective), exhibiting with The Urban Art Show in Shoreditch, and likewise as featured artist at ‘Heavy Pencil’, The Institute of Contemporary Art’s brand new live art and music event.
