So we’ve been @ Womex (www.womex.com) since yesterday and we’ve met tons of really interesting people, festivals, organisations, funders, producers, record labels…..the list is endless!
There is much interest in to of our projects – MI21 and RISING STYLES so we’re going full blast into trying to make things happen.
Anyone whos involved in the music sector should try to get to Womex, the learning around World Music is huge. We’re lucky enough to be here as KP is now part of the West Midlands World Music Consortium (www.wmwmc.org.uk). Still cant get over the amounts of paper that are wasted though!!!

Hola.
We’re on the move next week when KALA PHOOL heads to Seville for Womex (www.womex.com). WOO HOO 
We are not only represented as ourselves, but we are also part of the West Midlands World Music Consortium (www.wmwmc.org.uk) who will have a stand there in Hall 1, stand M08. So if you want to meet us, discuss anything and will be attending Womex, pop along. Furthermore on Friday 31st October at stand M08 from 2-6pm there will be a networking event where you can meet the rest of the consortium.
We’ll update you once we’re back.

Here at KP hq we can hardly believe the summer has left us 
Weve been plugging away at keeping things going with our projects including:
- SOUTH EAST MELA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
- RISING STYLES HIP HOP FESTIVAL
- MI21 – MOTHER INDIA 21st CENTURY REMIX
- ARTIST MANAGEMENT
Not only are things full on with the above all in their own right, we are also opening up a base in Birmingham, West Midlands. So if youre in the area do make sure you come visit us at The Big Peg in the Jewellery Quarter.
On top of everything were still keen to meet new people so why not get in touch to say ‘hi’ and let us know a little about yourself.
